New Sky Talk Customer (activated today) Skytalk incoming calls not working (outgoing calls work ok)

Today we awere activated for Sky Broadband and Sky talk (moved from BT and kept phone number)

Broadband working

Outgoing phone calls working

Incoming phone calls not working and goes straight to a voicemail. it's not clear if this is a Sky voicemail or an old BT voicemail 

have tried resetting router and does not wotk,

Sky Talk can take up to 24 hours to be fully up and running.

My worry is the line is at my elderly mothers home and she lives by herself. She doesn't use a mobile and will mean we have no way to contact her in the meantime.

As you say she can make outgoing calls arrange for her to ring you at a set time(s). It's hopefully only for 24 hours.

Hi,  we just needed to wait - it was all working ok the next morning.
