My sky phone is receiving calls but the static on line is appalling and cannot hear what the caller

I have checked all my broadband connections - receive my broadband tv ok - but cannot receive calls on my landline.  I have tried unplugging everything and just connecting my land line in the socket but the same is happening.  Just a load of static.  I suspect it is in the direct connection from the BT landline but when I have contacted them they say I must go through sky.  I have not received any landline calls for over a week now and need help as soon as possible

I have managed to call the line engineers who have been very helpful in sorting out my problem - they are currently monitoring the line and much to my surprise I have been credited with a refund as my line was not up to speed.  The call operator was extremely helpful, polite and hopefully my problem will be resolved in a couple of days.   Well done Sky!!!! and thank you very much.
