My previous landline number has not transferred.

Why has my previous landline number not transferred to Sky? Can anything be done to get my old number back?

Did you ask for it to be transferred? It's not always possible for Sky to transfer it.

Thanks for your reply. I wasn't given the option. I've changed provider many times and it's always happened automatically. Everything is done online, so you can't even ask the question thesedays.

Unless the online application has changed recently, there's a tick box where you confirm that you want to keep your number.

Fibre broadband now installed but the old number (held for 40+years) is still with my old broadband provider.

I cannot find a way to get sky  to request my number from Coop broadband and re assign it.
