As subject above my landline is saying 'check tel line'. I've made sure everything is plugged in, unplugged it and back in plus taken out the filter and put the phone directly into the box. Alas nothing is working! Any ideas?

If it's been ok up to now, try the simple connection test here first, even if your broadband is still working ok: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start
If it doesn't detect the fault, it would be best to report it to Sky. We can ask the messaging team to contact you here, if you wish, so that you can report it via a private online chat.

Hi thanks for replying.
My broadband is working fine, it's just the landline I have the problem with. I've tried all the suggestions and also borrowed a phone from a neighbour to see if the fault is with my phone but the line is still dead as a dodo. If you could arrange an online chat with Sky that would be great as I don't use a mobile. 😊

Yes all has been working until yesterday when I saw the message 'check tel line' on the phone. It's totally dead! I've not made any changes to my package and broadband is fine as you can see.
