My landline is not working. Phone says check phone Line. My phone works at neighbours house.

My landline says check phone line. My phone works fine at neighbours, I've checked it. What's the issue

@Haider1969  What is happening when you try to make calls?

The phone is just dead, no tone etc. Mesage on screen says "check phone line" Broadband etc all fine. I've taken phone to neighbours and plugged in there and works fine

Keep an eye out for an invite or blue chat bubble.

When the blue bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed.

Be reassured the email & message is from Sky and your details are safe and secure.
If you are using Safari please make sure that Hide IP Address is not checked in order to see the blue bubble. If you are having trouble finding this to check the settings, use another browser such as Firefox, Chrome etc.

I would also recommend that if not already on, that you turn email/private message notifications on to avoid missing any alerts

Does anything ever get resolved in this forum... all its seems to says is we have escalated this or that.... WOuld it not just be helpful to post the fix or problem so other could benefit from the issue if they have the same one themselves.

@Frankm  Posts are escalated for Sky Staff to help with, it may well not get  fixed via the forum and if a poster doesn't respond to the private chat then just how do you expect anyone  to post what  the resolution is!  

 

If you read the posts above you will see the OP didn't reply to their private messages.

 

I'm not sure what you're expecting from other customers,  which we are,  trying to help others.

In regards to Sky Talk landline issues the faults would be outside of the property if as the result of an escalation Opebreach is tasked to fix the fault so I'm not sure why anyone would benefit from somebody else having their line fixed ?
