My house phone isn’t receiving calls

I'm enquiring on some help as my home phone for the last 2 days has sometimes been letting phones been recieved  an other times not allowing any calls to come through,

Can you give us some more detail? What does the,caller hear when they try to call your number? How do you know it's not allowing calls through?

The caller their end can just hear the phone calling through then going to answer machine an on two occasions it's said their end the number your are trying to call is unattainable, sorry if that's not much information.

Not to worry. Probably best to give Sky a call so that they can test the line. Dial 150 from your landline phone.
