My first day with Sky, broadband working, but my phone line not working

I joined sky today, engineer came and left.  My broadband working, but phone line not working, I have requested sky to port my number from virgin media to sky one month ago.  

I do not know how to make my phone working.

Does your broadband hub have a voice light on it that is lit and if it is then is your phone connection plugged into the back of it ?

Thanks, it was plugged in.  Today, sky has connected my phone line.  It is great relief!  Thank you all.
