My elderly parents 'Talk' landline has stopped working.

My parent's landline has stopped working.  Their broadband is fine and I have checked all connections.  Any suggestions as to what might be the problem?

@Bamps27 suggest they call Sky to report the fault or you call on their behalf if you have been set up as authorised to handle their account.
