The caller ID on the telephone screen has stopped working - I just get "incoming call"

I have the same problem I no longer get caller ID. I called sky they sent an engineer (sub-contractor) out but he said he could not fix it, as he could only repair the box on my living room wall. He said he would contact sky but nobody ever got back in touch. When my contract with sky ends I will cancel and go with another company who offer caller ID. I have autisam and like to know who is calling before I answear the phone. I have had problems in the pass with con people calling me.

I had the same issue a couple of years ago. I reported it to Sky and Openreach fixed it the next day without even visiting my address.
