My Sky Talk phone number switched with another local customer.
Hi can anyone help with my issue?
Yesterday my Sky Talk phone number has been switched with a customer around the corner from me, I am getting their calls and they are getting mine.
I have tried all avenues of trying to contact sky about the issue but all lead to no help at all. Is there a way of actually speaking to a human about my issue? This is getting very frustrating now.

What's happening when you try to call Sky? Try remaining silent when the bot asks why you're calling etc and don't hang up. It should eventually ask if you want to speak to an adviser.
Alternatively, if you wish, we can ask Sky's messaging team to contact you here so that you can report it via a private online chat?

If the customer around the corner is not a Sky Talk customer then ringing 150 on what coukd potentially be another network won't get you though to Sky so it you want, as already suggested, we can get you some help via the Messaging Team on here. They can pass any fault to Openreach for them to investigate/fix.

Hi
Thank you for the replies. My daughter spoke with the other customer yesterday while trying to phone us, they said they are a Sky customer.
I tried phoning sky on 150 and not saying anything but after the options etc the call ends.
Yes please if you can connect me with someone from Sky, that would be great.

I’ve escalated your post to Sky and their Messaging Team should contact you later.
You need to watch out for a post from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread fairly regularly.
