My BT cordless phone will not work on Sky broadband hub VOIP

Hello. I previously had Sky broadband and my BT cordless handset worked fine when plugged direct into the hub on VOIP. After a spell with another broadband provider I have recently returned to Sky and even though the router is exactly the same my cordless phone will not work.  A cheap conventional handset works ok. Any help would be appreciated. Regards Ken Lyons

Just to confirm - it's the base station you have plugged into the Hub?
