My BT box in the house will only allow either my router or ohone line to work as tgere is only 1 soc

Hi All,

We've just moved into our new home and my BT phone line box only has 1 socket. So it's either the router or the phone line, I can't have both plugged in it seems? Don't Sky supply the correct socket for both router & phone line? Had no issue at my old address.

You need a microfilter. I'm not sure if Sky still provide them, but in any event they're available cheaply on line or your local hardware store (probably supermarket too).

Wrong link: that's for a coaxial cable.

I know. Already on the case. No idea how that came about - hopefully it's right now

Alternatively you'd need that faceplate swapped for a prefiltered master socket.

Thanks very much just popped up the old house and that's exactly what I had up there. Is this something Sky should provide or do I have to buy it myself?
