Fibre was installed las Friday 10th Jan but now we have no landline. There is no socket on the installed modem to plug in the phone. How do we get the landline back?

If so, you should have either a black Hub with 4 LED indicators on the front panel, or a white one. Both have a standard telephone socket for your phone at the rear.
