Landline not working but broadband is

I haven't been able to receive or make calls on my landline phone in over a week. I called sky last week and they initially said I needed to upgrade my internet to be able to call, I got put through to someone else who said that wasn't true and it must be the actual phone that was broken. I brought new phones but it's still not working. Ive reset my internet multiple times but nothing is working and I can't get through to sky on the phone. I don't know what else to do.

@Renee1201  you definitely don't need to upgrade to make and receive calls.

 

Have you recently changed to Sky or upgraded your broadband? Or has your Sky landline been working OK up to last week?

  • No I've been with sky for 5 years and it's worked fine until last week. I upgraded my internet a couple of years ago but no changes recently.

@Renee1201 ypu could try Sky's  Status Checker via the link,in this help guide. Also try the connection test even if your broadband appears to be ok.

If there's no problem detected by either, I'm afraid you'll have to persevere with contacting,Sky.
