My landline phone is completely unresponsive, so I can't make or receive calls any more. The broadband words OK. I tried another phone in the same socket and that was dead too, so it's not the phone. I've been making and receiving calls ok up to this point. I tried phoning Sky, but it took so long my PAYG phone ran out of credit. I now have no way of contacting Sky about this problem, apart from the internet, and I can't find a way to do that by email or any other way. This forum is all there is left.

Thanks for the replies. I've tried the help links and I already tried all those suggestions. I tried another phone and that was dead too. The line test said no known issues. I haven't got a clue how to resolve this if I don't have a phone and there's no way to talk to Sky without one.

Find out moreTo get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who will be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to 24 hours to be contacted via this.

When the chat bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.

Hello, I posted on here about my landline phone going dead last week. It was fixed on Tuesday evening, but has now gone dead again. Broadband is still OK.
Would be great if someone could look into this for me.
Thanks in advance.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI have merged todays post into your original thread for continuity. I’ve escalated your post to Sky again and the Escalation Team may get in touch with you later.
Look out for an email and also a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. Once that speech bubble appears you only have 48 hours to join the private chat with a Sky expert or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to each message from Sky within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread regularly.
You need to make sure that your email/private message notifications are switched to ‘on’ to avoid missing the alerts.

If you are using Safari also make sure that Hide IP Address is not checked in order to see the chat bubble. If you have trouble finding this to check the settings, use another browser such as Chrome or Firefox.
