Landline not connecting after fibre fitted.
Recently have had open reach out to fit a new fibre cable. Since then no connection to landline phone. I've plugged into the modem but still not working, any help with this would be appreciated. I would have expected the open reach engineer to have done this

Re: Landline not connecting after fibre fitted.
Just to confirm - your phone should be plugged into your broadband Hub, not the ONT. Do you have a black Hub or a white one? When was your Sky service activated?

ISP voice service over optical fibre can take 24 hours to activate as it's largely software and database controlled: realistically there's nothing an Openreach field installer can do on the day. By definition FTTP is a world away from crimping copper wires together to create an electrical signalling circuit which Thomas Edison and Alexander Graham Bell would recognise.
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2
