Hi I've just ordered a Sky full fibre package and opted to move my landline from my current provider (Vodafone). I've never had any issues with this process in the past moving between various other phone and internet providers in the approx 15 years that I've had the number.
Completing the Sky order, I received the following message:
"Unfortunately you cannot keep your current landline number. A new number will be provided. Please contact your current provider to cancel the existing service."
Is there anything I can do between now and the transfer date to keep my existing number?
