Indistinct speech on incoming calls only. I'm with Sky Talk anytime (Voip)

I've been with Sky Talk anytime for about 3 months with no problem until last week when I couldn't recieve incoming calls the digital phone rang but when i picked up the reciever I only heard the other person say the first word.  I cured this by taking the batteries out of the hand set and swiching off the power supply. the result was I now get incoming calls but the speech is very indistinct.  Any help would be much appreciated please.

@Wooden+TopHave you tried another handset plugged into the router to see if this changes or stays the same. Thus you find out if it is the phone or if there is a problem with the talk service itself.

@highlander: Many thanks for you suggestion, but tonight I had my first clear call in several days so I'll bear your suggestion in mind if the system hasn't cleared itself up.

@Highlinder: Many thanks, might resort to your suggestion but ironically I've just had a clear incoming call the first in several days, so hear's hoping the system is improving.

@Wooden+TopCome back let the forum know if it starts going downhill again and if you have tried another handset getting the same symptoms as you are now.

I also have Sky Talk anytime (Voip) and have exactly the same problem.  All Incoming call have recently becime indistinct and crackle almost to the point of breaking up.  I happens on all my handsets.  Has anyone actually reported the problem to sky and was it sorted out?

@MikelP  hi Mike. No I didn't report it officially as I haven't a clue how to as I'm new to forums. It appears to have cleared up though. Sorry I can't help any further.

@MikelP  Do you have another means of contacting Sky to report this fault? If it is yes I can give you a number to call Sky if you are not with Sky mobile. If it is no then we have other means of alerting Sky in order to get help.
