I requested to retain my old landline number but it didn't happe

Hi I swapped from talk talk to sky and requested that my old number was brought across to sky when I changed providers. Approximately 3 weeks on I still have a new number provided by sky. Is there any way of changing back to my original number ?

The short answer is no, I'm afraid. 

Sky can only transfer your number at the time your service is switched from your old provider.
