I only got wifi in yesterday but my landline needs a plug apparently where do i get one to connect

If your broadband hub has a voice light on it that is lit then you need to plug the connection into the back of your hub.

I have not got the plug where do I get it. The hub is in the living room an the landlines in the hall it won't reach

Having a phone handset 'in the hall' is no longer relevant once telephone services are being delivered over broadband to an ISP router.

It's your choice whether to relocate the handset and plug it into the Hub using its existing cable, or to purchase a longer cable (typically RJ11 to BT Jack)

...or you may want to invest in a cordless DECT phone. You connect the base station to the broadband Hub, but can have the handset wherever you want it.
