I no longer have a BT landline just Sky. It has suddenly gone very faint

I no longer have a BT connection, just Sky.  I use a BT phone which has facility for hearing aids allowing me to increase volume whixh has worked well but last week that control stopped and I can only hear a distant voice I cannot really hear.   They can hear me enabling me to say use my mobile if you know it.  I am 95 so you cant expect me to be good at technical details
