They've checked connection. Asked me to send photo connections which I did on 10th. I've also tried 3 different phones. It was escelated to Openreach on 12th. Openreach have replied to a review I made on Trustpilot saying the I needed to go through Sky. Spoke to 6 different advisors it's been referred to different departments who are looking at it. There is an issue but no one can say whAt it is or how long it will take to fix. I've already had one heart attack and this stress is really getting to me. I feel helpless and no one is taking any action. I can keep I. Touch by mobile but my husband can't. He had no way of contacting anybody when I have to go out and neighbours are out during the day

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI'm sorry to hear this. We've occasionally seen reports here of a delay in activating the Talk (landline) service following a switch to Sky.
If yours is a similar case, I suspect it will be being managed by Sky's Networks team.
Sky's messaging team may be able to give you an update on your landline activation. We can ask them to contact you here tomorrow so that you can seek an update via a private online chat, if you wish?

I have exactly the same problem, although our sky hub was only fitted 5 days ago but still very frustrating and stressful. In the meantime I have bought my husband a simple talk and text mobile in case of emergency. Have just requested Sky test the landline again, another 72 hours to wait!!
