I have had no internet or landline for a week now

Have contacted sky re lack of phone/internet for a week now.  It's an openreach issue.  Sky have no idea when it will be resolved.  Several neighbours are affected, some for several weeks.  What is going on?  Should I be badgering openreach directly or should sky be doing that?  Can't do without internet for weeks on end.

You can't talk directly to Openreach. As Sky has reported the issue to them, it's a matter of waiting for Openreach to address it, I'm afraid.
