I have been getting unsolicited phone calls from a withheld number in the middle of the night.Can I block the number if we know who is making the calls

Do you have Sky Talk Shield active on your account as you could see if you can block such calls via this.

I have only one call on my lanline I want to block.Can I do this without downloading a Sky system which means I have to enter all the other ones I receive and which are still wanted.

You might be able to do this via your phone itself so it might be worth either reading the instruction booklet or if you haven't go it go searching on Google for the make and model of your phone.

Only if your phone handset  has provision for blocking calls.

Sky Talk Shield intercepts non-blocked calls and gives you the choice of whether or not to accept them. You don't have to enter them individually.  Numbers you do enter are passed straight through without being intercepted.
