How to stop incoming calls on my landline

Obviously I have to have a landline for my WiFi, but I don't want to receive incoming calls anymore. I don't no how to switch it off completely

If you don't use your phone at all so you don't make calls either then just unplug it as you don't have to have a phone connected if you don't have the need for it.

I have done that, just it shows me on my sky app who has called me ...I keep getting private jumbers calling me....then when I asked sky to block private numbers they told me then sky talk shield will be removed

If you phone is unplugged then you are not going to stop whoever is trying to call you from these numbers so personally I wouldn't worry about as they can't get through to you with the phone not plugged in.
