How to set number of rings or seconds before call divert

I have recently replaced my landline phones with a DECT set incorporating an answerphone, which I don't actually need as I have Call Divert on the line. However, unanswered calls are now going  to the answerphone. To help investigate this I should like to change the number of rings or seconds before call divert activates, assuming it is actually working. Whilst typing this I realise that I could try diverting all calls but the query still stands.

To my knowledge, the delay before Call Divert kicks in isn't configurable. You could always turn off your phone's answerphone service if you don't need it, as you say.

Call Divert appears to work for all calls (*21*) but not for busy or no answer. If I am out can I control the setting from another phone?
