How do I access landline voicemail from a remote location (outside of the UK)?

I'm in the US and would like to access voicemail from my UK landline to check messages and change my outgoing message/recording. How do I do that? Do I call my own number and press a code to get to voicemail admin? Thanks!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@JRST  You need to have Voicemail Plus to be able to do this:

  1. Set up a four digit PIN by contacting Sky
  2. From another phone, dial your home phone number.
  3. When you hear the voicemail message, press '*'
  4. Enter your PIN. You can now listen to your messages.
Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
