House phone not working but broadband is
Hi, so all of a sudden yesterday my house phone stopped working. The broadband still works fine, but the phone is very strange.
When someone rings me, it rings there end but nothing mine. When i try ot ring out, it dials the number but nothing happens.
I've bought a new phone to try incase that was the issue, changed all the cable etc and still the same problem.
According to the sky outages checker and the tests they run everything is fine.
I just find it odd someone can ring and it rings out there end, anyone with any ideas?

That's because the ringing tone is generated at the exchange.
It sounds like a fault you'll need to report to Sky. If you wish, we can ask Sky's messaging team to contact you here via a private online chat to enable you to do so?

Ok, I've flagged your post to Sky and a Community adviser may be able to help you later today. Look out for a blue/red chat 'bubble' towards the bottom of the page. Replies from Sky may not be instant, so check back from time to time for updates.

Update - just spoken to @Gordon6 and after some checks, we have found an external fault, which Openreach has been booked for 🙂
