Have crackling on my line and sky will do nothing about it

Had sky into fix crackling on the line , as soon as I used the phone after 5 minutes the crackling back again . Tried getting someone from sky to  help but just been ignored . Has anyone else had this and also how easy just to cancel sky because there service has failed

This is a fairly frequent issue discussed on here. Sky can check the line and if a fault is found externally they pass it to Openreach for you. What do you mean by being ignored?

I have put in xomplaints , spoke to a person three weeks ago and they were supposed to phone back still waiting on call . Getting nowhere with them so I'm sick nd tired of it

I have had the same problem, in fact I am still experiencing cracking high pitched whining sound and this is after it has been fixed. Something is wrong. Customer services are not even following up customers to see if all has been fixed. It would have been courteous to receive a call after being a customer of Sky's for over 21 years, you would think.

That's not something they do. With Openreach engineers carrying out hundreds if not thousands of repairs a day that would be unrealistic.

I wouldn't wait for Sky to call you back after 3 weeks, if it's an issue that bothers you. I'd call again to chase it up.
