When was your service activated ? It can up to 24 hours for the full phone service to be available.
Also check your phone number is what ypu expect it to be. You can do that by dialling 17070 from your landline. The recorded message will give, you your number..

It doesn't always happen hence the suggestion to check.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreOk, restart your Hub later this afternoon by switching off at the plug for 30 seconds. If that doesn't resolve it, it would be best to report it to Sky. We can ask Sky's messaging team to contact you here so that you can do so via a private online chat if ypu wish.

Thanks Mark
I have contacted Sky twice and the women who I spoke to yesterday said to wait 24 hours and the man I spoken to this morning said to check my actual phone itself to see if the answer machine is on
but I will try to restart later on

If your service is full fibre there can sometimes be a delay on the number port completing on the VoIP part of the order as it doesn't complete until the broadband side is complete, you have the partial service until that completes, usually within 24 hours of the broadband completion

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Raymond261 ok, I've alerted Sky and a Community adviser may be able to help you via private, online messaging later today. Look out for a blue/red chat 'bubble' towards the bottom of the page and an email inviting you to chat online. Replies from Sky may not be instant, so check back from time to time for updates. The chat automatically closes 48 hours after it commences
