Giga fast install with Sky Max Hub - Phone Does not Work

I had full fibre installed today with the Sky Max Hub (The white one with one light) - Previously my phone, which is a normal non-digital one- plugged into the back of the hub. I did not think to ask the engineer but there is no dial tone to my phone. Broadband works fine. Not sure what I need to do. They installed a small modem which has an ethernet cable to the router. The old box is still ther with nothing plugged in.

 

Any advice welcome. Thank you

@Dan+MonaghanSometimes it can take up to 24 hours for the phone to kick in. Have you re-started the router at all to see if the voice side will kick in?

@Dan+MonaghanSometimes it can take up to 24 hours for the phone to kick in. Have you re-started the router at all to see if the voice side will kick in?

i havent rebooted as the engineer said i shouldnt reboot it for 10 days whilst it settles down. 

 

i'll perhaps see if it fixes itself overnight and if not try a reboot .

@Dan+Monaghan  That information is for older FTTC and not FTTP about leaving it for 10 days.
