Fibre Installed Now no landline working

Had the new fibre installed over a week ago, plugged in my orignal BT phone into the sky hub etc i have a dial tone but it wont ring out or take calls in, i have today bought a new phone which states its compatible with hub router box but still the same issues? im at a loss as i cant kept buying new phones any suggestions on which phone acually work with the sky hub once fibre installed please ? i have rung sky about this last week and line has been tested.

Any standard phone should work with Sky Talk (landline). An IP phone, or a phone designed to work with BT's Digital Voice service won't work.

 

If you have a standard phone, try turning off your Sky Hub and your fibre ONT for an hour to see if that prompts the landline to work.

 

If not, it's best reported to Sky (again). We can ask Sky's messaging team to contact you here so that you can report it via a private online chat, if you wish.

Ive been on to sky again this afternoon after a hour on the phone to them and resetting my sky hub, unplugging the open reach box etc still no joy, its now been escalated and im awaiting a reply within 72 hours - its getting very frusting
