So presumably you have Sky Broadband which will be provided through your phone line unless you have a separate fibre optic cable. There is no requirement to have a phone connected. Just make sure you are on the Sky Talk Pay As You Talk tariff so making no calls means no charges.

Depending on your connection, you may need a landline as part of your package, however if you do not plan on making use of this, ensure that you get the Sky Pay As You Talk Package, so you are not unnescessarily paying for call time you won't be making use of.

Note that the 'line rental' element of the subscription pays for the data bearer cable (copper or digital) over which broadband arrives: that's different to any voice call bundle.
