How do I connect my old landline phone, which is still plugged into an old BT socket, to my new Broadband hub

Thanks Mark!
I'm currently at work, so difficult to communicate on it effectively, when BT changed the line and fitted the new hub, I totally forgot to check and ask about the phone !.
So the old landline phone connection will fit directly into the hub?, do I have to power the hub off, fit the line and power on again?

No, no need to switch off the Hub when you plug in.

Note that this only applies where the Voice light on the front of a Sky Broadband Hub is green, indicating that the address is provisioned over SoGEA broadband.

Thanks Tommy, this complicates things!
I've got Sky Broadband Ultrafast 1, so not sure what Hub I've got, I know I've got line rental so hopefully there is line port somewhere!

For any Ultrafast you should have a Sky Broadband Hub and be provisioned on Internet Calls through the Hub.
Ultrafast 1 can be either FTTP (optical) or G.fast (copper) but that makes no difference to the voice call provision.

My BT plug does not fit into Hub socket. Therefore unable to receive calls. This is an URGENT problem. Please help.

Where was your phone previously plugged into?

My BTphone is plugged into the mains and also into the BT socket. I tried to plug the BT plug into the hub but the connectors are different. It doesn't slot in anywhere on the hub.

Have you actually been advised to do so?
Plugging a handset into the router is typically required after new broadband provisioning, a switch of provider or a speed upgrade, in which case a new Hub is supplied that has the relevant BT jack port.
It's not possible to plug a handset into a Q Hub because those pre-dates the change in voice technology.

I am a new Sky client with a new router. I was with BT before. I have a BT landline which I need for old age purposes. Sky maintain that I can unplug the landline and replug it into the rear or the hub. (I presume the hub is the same thing as the router?) There are no sockets behind the router which match the BT plug. Therefore my landline is out of order now. People can hear the phone going, but nothing is happening here in my house. No noise and not connected to the voicemail either.
