Connecting cordless phone to SR203 hub for sky talk
Buying new cordless phone with answer machine and need a longer cable as phone not next to hub to connect to sky talk
What cable should I buy as had to return a new Panasonic unit as cord too short and Panasonic dont supply a longer one.
I am on sky ultrafast fibre with SR203 hub
Phone will have RJ11 plug at base unit so what plug should be at hub end when plugging cable in to hub where there are two sockets UK phone and also a RJll socket
Thanks for any help
Ron

Re: Connecting cordless phone to SR203 hub for sky talk
The socket at the rear of the Hub is a standard telephone socket so you need a cable which terminates in a standard telephone plug.
If the cable's not long enough you can use a standard telephone extension cable of suitable length.

Re: Connecting cordless phone to SR203 hub for sky talk
RJ11 at the phone to UK phone jack (British Standard 6312 431A plug) on the Hub.
The purple RJ11 on a Sky Broadband Hub is for incoming ADSL/FTTC broadband, not a handset, and the black RJ11 is for handsets in Republic of Ireland and Italy rather than the UK.
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2
