I've just checked my bill for next month, and I'm being charged £0.47 for a call I supposedly made! I don't have a phone with my broadband package, so don't see how I'm being charged for something I didn't do!
There's no phone number on my account, let alone a phone plugged in and a call made. The number is from Glasgow, I checked Google and other people are saying they have also been charged for it even though they haven't called it!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@TaraW12 if you have Sky broadband, you have a phone number. I don't understand how you've been charged, but in any event, you would need to call Sky to report it and seek a refund.

That number is the Backup BT Openreach line test number you wil lhave had an engineer at your property to resolve a BB/ telecom issue and they dialed this number to perform a line test as the 17070 free test number wasn't working due to the type of exchange you re on.
Most customers have free landline calls so it never occurs to engineers that you may get chagred for the call.
