Changing to Internet calls i need to be able to connect phone downstairs as well as upstairs HOW ?

My new hub is on its way.  The email just says plug in your phone into the hub once hub is connected.  My hub is/will be located upstairs in spare room (used as study).  I would like a phone downstairs, so how does this work?  I have nothing else to plug it into.

@debs2904 the simplest solution is to invest in a cordless DECT phone. They're not unduly expensive. The base station plugs into the Hub and the handset talks wirelessly to the base station to make and receive calls.

As the handset is portable you can take it with you from room to room,  or you can buy models with more than one handset if you prefer.
