Cant receive or make calls with my skytalk anytime extra

Hi I have  been unable to make or recieve calls since last wednesday .I waited a couple of days to see if the problem would fix, as there are a lot of roadworks in my area. My internet is still working although  it seems slower. I have already tried unplogging  my cordless phone and using a  plug in phone to the main phone socket  in my home but to no avail .When friends try to call  they get an enagaged tone  However on friday I called sky to  report the fault  and after  a very long wait and discussion they advised that I would get a text with a date  for an engineer  who I assume is from openreach  with a date for an engineer .Could someone please advise  how long openreach take to  get back to you  with a date via text.  .I understand  they are  maybe busy  and it may be a whille befor they can attend but just wondered how long I  have to wait before I get that text.  Many thanks
