I cannot make or receive calls on the landline. It's just a crackling sound.
My Internet is working fine.

Try the connection test link here, even though your broadband is working ok. If it doesn't detect a fault, it will need to be reported to Sky. We can ask Sky's Community messaging team to contact you here so that you can do so, if you wish.

I have made no changes to my sky recently. This has happened out of the blue.
There is no faults detected by the diagnostic

Look out for a blue/red chat 'bubble' towards the bottom of the page later today. It's not a real-time service and replies from Sky may not be instant, so just check back from time to time for updates.

Hi @Lisa-P1987 As I am a sky ireland customer the cat was not available over the weekend. Is it possible to arrange an engineer to check the phone line?
