Cant call out

I cant call out on landline phone - can take calls, but no ring tone when trying to call. Any ideas please?

@RDM1  Have you just joined Sky or recently changed your broadband  & phone package with Sky or has this just happened out of the blue?

I have been with Sky for years - just come out of blue.

@RDM1  Is your broadband working as it should? Does your phone plug into a filter in the master socket or does it just plug straight into the wall?

Broadbank is fine - I will have to check the socket later
