I cannot make or receive any calls from my landline, there's no dial tone just background noise.
I am getting WiFi and broadband for my tv fine, it's just my phone.
I've tried plugging phone direct into socket and there's nothing. If I plug it into the sky hub I get background noise but no dial tone, and cannot call anyone or receive calls.
any ideas? Do I need an engineer out?

If it doesn't detect a fault, it's best reported to Sky. We can ask Sky's messaging team to contact you here so that you can report it via a private online chat, if you wish.

It says it all looks good and there's no faults. If you could get them to contact me through here that would be great thanks.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI’ve escalated your post to Sky and their Messaging Team should contact you later today. If a fault is detected Sky will notify Openreach.
You need to watch out for a post from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread fairly regularly.
This link explains what happens.
