Can’t make or receive calls on the landline
My cordless handset has a message on the screen that says 'check phone line'
There is no dial tone and does not ring out and when I call it from my mobile it says user busy. I followed all of the steps in the Sky app and none of it has helped. Does anyone else know what the problem is or could be ?

Is your Broadband working okay? Any recent changes to your package?

Broadband is working fine and no recent changes to my package

Even though your broadband is OK, try the connection test here. It may still detect a fault and give you the opportunity to book an engineer there and then: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start

Try running a line test. If an outside fault is disclosed it should allow you to organise an engineers visit and save you calling Sky.

I done all of these steps before coming in here, I called sky from my mobile but the wait time was 30imins so came here instead

Any wait times mentioned are only estimates and the call is likely to be answered earlier than that provided. If the link hasn't disclosed an external fault try ringing when they open later.
