Can i alter number of rings or seconds which elapse before voicemail cut in

For a person with a disability the voicemail cuts in too quickly

This has been raised before, and so far as I'm aware the number of rings before Sky Voicemail picks up the call isn't configurable. 

They might be better off with a cordless DECT phone which allows ypu to place the handset where you want it or carry it with you. Many have their own built -in answerphone service too (avoids paying Sky for it) and with configurable rings.
