I currently have three house phones connected using my BT wiring, however moving to sky talk suggests I need to plug one phone only into the back of my router. Can I still use the extension phones once I have moved to sky talk?

Not into any BT extension sockets around the house. You can have cordless extensions plugged into normal electrical sockets.
