Hello
Sky being installed on Saturday.
Currently my BT Guardian nuisance call blocker is connected via my exisiting BT extension telephone sockets in the front room via the BT NTE socket in my hallway. I had spoken to Sky Tech experts a few weeks ago and I was told that I could keep the BT Guardian cordless devices post Sky installation.
Having just opened the Sky Hub router it appears that any handsets should be plugged in to the back of the Sky Hub?
My concerns are that this mean I will have the Sky Hub AND the BT Guardian handset in close promity. As everyone knows that will probaly have an impact on the performance of my Sky router. I could probably ditch the Sky Guardian kit and subscribe to Sky Shield I guess but would like to keep the BT Guardian cordless handsets where they are without having to move them.
So can any one confirm if I could leave my BT Guardian cordless handsets where they are currently connected and would they continue to work? Alternatively do I have have to relocate them next to the Sky Hub router?
Thank you

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Teleprinter+Op Do you know if you are getting internet calls with your package? That would mean that if you have phones plugged into any other sockets around the property that they would no longer work unless they are wireless and the base station is plugged into the back of the router.

Thank you so much for your reply. It was helpful and proved to be the right response exactly as described. The BT Guardian device is compatable with Sky Talk as long as I do not also attempt to take up Sky Shield services as well. Thank you again. Also excellent service from Sky Tech team (Jamie and Tony) who were also extremely helpful when I contacted them.
