Can I cancel landline phone as never use it and keep sky broadband

Never use landline phone and need to know if a customer can cancel the phone and keep sky broadband as its just another cost

You can't cancel your landline as that's how your broadband is delivered (unless you have a separate fibre optic cable to your home). But you can cancel any call package you might have by switching to the Pay as you Talk package, for which there's no monthly charge. You just pay for your calls, so no calls, no charge.

Thats not technically true. The land line services are not a technical requirement ( other providers can give you broadband without a phone aspect) the line is capable of broadband without phone serivces. Sky just choose not to implement this.  The switching happens ath the exchange and can be for voice or data or both.

All quite true, but not relevant to Sky.
