We have a problem with our landline. Our phone display says Check Phone Line. I've tried plugging in a new corded phone to both the front plate socket and the test socket behind the front plate. In both cases there is no dial tone. When I lift the receiver there is also nothing so I can't dial any number. When I ring the landline number from my mobile it appears to be connecting but the landline phone does not ring and I cannot answer my mobile call. Our broadband appears to be OK - we have the (old) Sky Fibre Max whicj we are getting approx 30Mb/s.

At the moment the service checker is reporting an outage, but I can't see how that can be true as my broadband and TV is working fine.
Will try again in a little while.

When it's displayed you'll need to engage with blue/red chat 'bubble' towards the bottom of the page so that you can report it. Replies from Sky may not be instant, so check back from time to time for updates. Once the chat is activated it remains open for 48 hours, after which it will automatically close..

Been with sky years. I have been setting a new phone. As I thought old one wasn't working
