Broadband and TV working fine but landline dead

My landline is completely dead. Not sure how long it's been like this as we don't generally use it for making calls but a few family members still call us over it.

Both plug in phones are completely silent when the reciever is lifted. I have also tried another known working phone from work and this is also dead.

I have run the broadband checker and all seems fine with that and the Wi-Fi but no landline.

Does your broadband hub have a voice light on the front of it and if it does is it lit up ?

No, it does not have a voice light. I have had this hub for a few years and never had a problem with the landline until recently. No equipment has been changed since the hub was installed.

After speaking with PeteNoName we accessed the account to run a line test which detected an external fault and we have arranged for Openreach to resolve this shortly.
