At the moment I don't have a landline phone, but I'm still being charged for one...

Above.

I'm using my mobile for all incoming and outgoing calls, and the signal in High Green, Sheffield, England, Planet Earth's terrible most of the time, I'm with O2.

Basically, I know a landline's essential for the Fibre Broadband to work, but would there be a way to reduce the cost? Even if it's only slightly?

@MrRichAllen1976

You need to contact O2 then.

Circuit rental cost is bundled into the broadband subscription price.  There's no additional cost in having the default (and non-optional) Sky Talk voice service if no outbound calls are being made.

Cost reduction can only come from renegotiating the broadband subscription, which typically isn't going to be possible during a minimum term unless, for example, moving from copper to fibre.

Unlike some other ISPs, Sky doesn't offer broadband without a voice service.

@Daniel0210 I'm in the process of contacting O2 on other matters as it happens.

I just can't seem to get past the security.
