Are there calls charges on Sky broadband and talk packages?
New to Sky (ex Now TV). Have bought sky broadband and talk, are there charges for the talk calls?

Yes. The default Sky Talk tariff is Pay As You Talk where all calls apart from the freephone numbers and calls to Sky are chargeable. Other tariffs are available at a cost but discounts are available.

Depends if you taook out a call pacakge with your ocntract too ? if not then you can receive calls for free but will be charged for calls except to certain freephone numbers, Sky customer service and the emergency services.

@Michael522 the default package is the Pay as you Talk package as @Daniel0210 posted, which has an unpleasantly high per call charge rate. As an example, if you make more than 12, 5 minute calls per month you may be better off with the Anytime+ call package which currently has a fixed monthly charge of £18.
